2 Year Blogaversary! šŸŽ‰

Wow… I can’t quite believe it’s been two years since I started blogging. I’m so pleased for myself that I have kept it going for what feels like a really long time as I do genuinely love creating content for sunshine and teacups.

I have definitely gone through a bit of a transition phase fairly recently which was quite difficult for me. I have felt for a while as if I had lost my blogging identity in a world where I feel like it can sometimes be a ‘who can shout the loudest’ contest. I’m so not into all the flashy displays of wealth, nor am I into sharing my personal life with anyone or everyone so I found that my engagement got lower and lower as I started posting less frequently.Ā I kept up my one and then two posts a week for ages but it just got too much for me so the gaps inbetween posts just got bigger and bigger.

I’m starting to get back into my rhythm now which feels amazing and I will do my best to keep up with the one post a week but i’m going to concentrate more on creating content that I love so if that means i’m not quite as active for a while then that’s fine by me and I hope it is with you too.

It’s strange as I spend so much of my day surrounded by this internet and blogging world Ā (not a day goes by where i’m not reading about some beauty blogger drama or someone’s favourite lipstick) yet I also feel quite detached sometimes when I click on my own blog! Does anyone else in a similar situation feel this way?!

So i’ll make it my mission to keep this little space I have on the internet a positive one and in return I hope you keep reading!

Lastly I just wanted to say a big thank you if you’ve ever read one of my posts or left me a nice comment it really does mean a lot.

Yes I always feel that way!! I feel like too many people have the same niche/blog topic but then I realize every single person is different doing it there way no matter how many niches are the same. Its more about the person šŸ™‚ But I also give myself social media, internet, and blogging breaks when needed.

Yes I know exactly what you mean. Taking your time between posts is really sensible and helps keep you focused on what you really want to write about. Here’s to another 2 years! xxx
