Technic ColourMax lipsticks

Ever since I reviewed Technic cosmetics a while ago i’ve been obsessed with the products I have. When I saw that they were releasing some new shades of their colourmax lipstick range I knew I had to try them!

I’m pretty sure there are two different finishes in this range, both shiny and matte. I’ve got the matte ones and they are so good. They’re actually nothing like i’ve ever tried before- they go on quite dry as opposed to creamy (and not in a bad way, trust me!) which means they are super long lasting. I love how you can tailor how much colour you put on by how hard you press; with a light hand you can achieve a wash of colour but with a slightly heavier hand you can get a really bold finish, both of which I love.

The new shades are beautiful and I would say they are all pretty wearable except from maybe one or two depending on how brave you are. I find them all to be really flattering on which is not always easy to achieve. I’m obsessed with the shade kiss catch at the moment which is a beautiful pinky mauve but I also am really enjoying the shade be my baby for a slightly more intense lip look.

To be honest i’m just obsessed with this range in general at the moment. They’re such good quality and I personally think they could rival a high end lipstick any day. These are priced at £1.99 (!!) which is such good value for money.

For a matte lipstick I don’t find these to be drying at all on the lips. Even after swatching all 6 shades on my lips it wasn’t too bad which is quite an achievement – you’ll understand what I mean if you’ve ever done lip swatches before!

I’m so happy i’ve discovered these and I think I will continue to use kiss catch as my everyday low maintenance lip colour. It’s a massive thumbs up from me!
