❄️ Tanya Burr cosmetics latest releases ❄️

Hi everyone, today I thought I would share with you some of the latest releases from Tanya Burr cosmetics. I haven’t tried many products from this brand until recently so I was really interested to see how the formulas worked for me and also the quality too!

So there’s been a few different collections released recently, one is her new Autumn range and the other is her Christmas range which includes a beauty advent calendar.

Her Autumn range really appeals to me as it’s a lot more sophisticated than her standard makeup range; it’s got beautiful rose gold packaging and includes products that her younger audience may not use such as face and body illuminators. I would say the main product release from the Autumn range is the new lipstick collection. There are 6 shades available and I would say they are all quite wearable, even ‘typical’ which I think is great for a first release. Tanya made a point about the formula of the lipsticks being creamy instead of matte and I really like the formula. I tend to wear shiny lipsticks a lot more as they’re totally low maintenance!

I tried out the shade Happily Ever After which is a pinky coral. I don’t usually wear bright coral shades but I think this actually suits me a lot as it brightens up the face whilst still being quite muted so perfect for everyday wear. These are £6.99 which is average for drugstore products and i’m glad that this more sophisticated range is still fairly affordable.

Also along with the Autumn range Tanya released another eyeshadow palette called Midnight Smoulder. It’s navy  and blue based which is definitely not for everyone but I do think the shades are still quite wearable and it’s obvious that a lot of thought has gone into picking the shades too.

Overall I do like this palette, the eyeshadows are good quality and last well on the eyes. The only thing I didn’t like about this palette was that the light blue shade endless sky gave off no pigment at all after I had swatched it a couple of times. I can’t get any eyeshadow to pick up onto a brush or fingers so i’m not sure if I got a dud one or if there’s something about that particular shade that makes it not transfer. Such a shame as it’s a beautiful colour! This palette is £5.99.

As part of the Christmas range Tanya released another beauty advent calendar this year as well. This is the first year i’ve ever had a beauty advent calendar so I was really excited to see what was inside and if they are actually value for money or not. Look away if you don’t want spoilers as i’ve opened a few of the doors as examples of what’s inside!

I’m actually quite impressed with what you get in the calendar, there are 12 products in total and most of the products are of a good size. There are 3 beautiful nail polishes in the calendar which look full sized and as they’re all colours I would wear i’m happy to see they are included. There’s also 3 lip items, 2 glosses and a matte lip all of which I really enjoy. There’s also glitter pots and liners, a mirror and a nail file in the calendar too. I think this is a great way of trying out the brand if you want something a bit fun and i’m pretty sure there’s some exclusive shades in it too! The calendar is £25 (but is now reduced to £15).

So i’m very impressed with the new products from Tanya Burr cosmetics overall and I think the quality of the products is great for the price. If you want to treat yourself this Christmas then I think the advent calendar is great!

Have you tried anything from this brand before?
