Hi everyone, this week on my blog is going to be dedicated to all things face mask. I have been trying out a few different brands recently and all of them were too good not to share!
Today I am going to be talking about the newest launch from Vichy which is their 3 naturally infused mineral masks. There is the quenching mineral mask, the pore purifying clay mask and the double glow peel mask. I chose the quenching mineral mask as that sounded best for my skin type.
This mask is aimed at dry, sensitive and dehydrated skin. Mine is all of the above so this is just the sort of thing I look for in masks now. The product includes remineralising thermal water which is supposed to reinforce the skin’s natural moisture barrier. It also contains vitamin B3 which helps to brighten the complexion and soothe. All sounds pretty good to me!
It’s very easy to apply as the formula is somewhere in between water and a gel. It’s not sticky and i’ve found a little goes a long way with this product. You then tap the face to activate the ingredients and leave for around 5 minutes. I tend to apply and let it soak in naturally but if you wish you can leave for a while and then massage the excess into the skin. It feels really lovely and cooling on the face which would make it great for the summer months but I actually feel like i’ll use this a lot now its getting colder as my skin tends to feel very dry and tight.
The scent of products is a really big thing to me as I have sensitive skin and this has a light fragrance which is very spa-like. The press release says that it’s made up of green tea, jasmine water and bamboo which is actually a really lovely combination.
I feel like my skin feels refreshed and rehydrated after use and I feel like I can see an instant improvement after using this for around 3 weeks. At £14 I think these are well worth the price and i’m definitely going to continue to use this.
What sort of face masks do you like?
