Miss Organics: Reviewed

Hi everyone this week I’ve got a review of a lovely little skincare brand i’ve recently discovered. Miss Organics is a lovingly made, British born and 100% natural and ethical skincare line. Miss Organics has 3 different products currently, and I hope they do expand the range in the future! I tried out the body oil and the lip balm, which both come in different scents / flavours. I’m a citrus lover so the citrus euphoria lip balm is perfect for me, and I also tried out the serene harmony body oil.

Okay first up is the serene harmony body oil. This has lots of lovely essential oils in it including red mandarin, rosewood and sweet orange. It smells delicious and this has been a bit of a skin saviour for me recently as my arms are starting to resemble an angry reptile. It’s most probably because it’s getting colder in the UK and that definitely seems to equal peely arms. Lovely! This is very soothing and hydrating and yes it does make you feel a tiny bit like J.LO.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of body oils is that sticky, greasy feeling that seems to linger for way too long. I don’t know how they’ve managed it but this oil doesn’t do that – not even a tiny bit. I would say it’s a great one especially if you’re in a rush and can’t walk around doing the ‘crab dance’ (legs and arms away from body whilst oil dries) for 10 mins. Don’t lie to me; I know you’ve done that too!

Now onto the lip balm. Yep, that’s right, another one. I seem to weasel lip balms into as many posts as possible (I promise I’ll stop now!).

I did want to just mention this one though as I think this one feels like such a special treat: it come in a lovely glass tub with a tin lid that  is something a little different from your plastic tubes. The formula is great, and one thing I noticed is that it’s quite soft in consistency meaning it’s super easy to apply but also means you’ll probably use it up more quickly too.

The body oil  is priced at £22 for 50ml and the lip balms are £11. I love supporting local brands with a great conscience and Miss Organics has both so I wouldn’t mind paying a little bit extra.

What’s your favourite body oil?
