Spectrum Brushes goes marbleous

Hi guys, today I thought I would share with you Spectrum’s new marble brush collection that all the bloggers have been going crazy about (me included!). There are now two different sets of the marble brushes, the marbleous smoke and the marbleous sculpt. I went for the smoke set as this is mainly eyeshadow and detail brushes and this set has everything you could every need for an eyeshadow look.

The set includes:

B05 – Luxe Blender

B06 -Tall Tapered Blender

A07 – Stubby Shader

A12 – Fluffy Pencil

A13 – Short Smudge

A14 – Brow Definer

A15 – Lip Definer

I have been loving using the A07 stubby shader to pack on eyeshadow as it is flat and allows you to get the most pigment out of the shadows you’re using. This brush + Urban Decay ‘half baked’ = heaven!

When I first saw the BO5 luxe blender I thought it was waaay too big for it’s purpose. Then I had a play and found it’s actually totally multi-purpose. I’m using this for concealer at the moment and it’s so great – it’s my version of the Real Techniques setting brush that everyone seems to use for concealer! I think this would also be amazing for setting cream eyeshadows with powder and doing Nikkie Tutorials’ crease to brow bone trick (love her btw).

This set is £34-99 which means each brush comes to around £5 so in my humble opinion I think this set is very good value. Spectrum brushes are all vegan and cruelty free so it’s worth buying these over your cheapy eBay brushes you shamelessly have hidden at the back of your makeup drawer… I see you!

So, yet again Spectrum have pretty much made my dream brushes. I’m not sure i’ll ever stop being excited to use these every time I do my makeup! I also reviewed some of their original brushes so if you fancy giving that a read you can here too.

Have you ever tried Spectrum brushes?

Yet again you’ve helped me to discover something new, I’ll definitely be looking into these, from this post and your review they sound incredible and just how pretty are they? I’m always won over by cruelty free and vegan products as I want to eventually have nothing left in my collection that even distributes in China due to the ‘necessary’ animal testing over there. A problem I often have with brushes is if they’re too soft, as I feel they’re then doing absolutely nothing in regards to make-up application, what are these brushes like in that aspect?
