Birthday Makeup

Wooo it’s my birthday! I thought it would be only fitting to write a post about what makeup i’m wearing on my face today for my birthday!

Believa care cream

I’m loving this all rounder cream from Believa at the moment to hydrate and prep my dry skin before makeup. It’s scent free and it very gentle so it’s great for people with sensitive skin. I’m doing a full review of Believa soon so keep an eye out!

L’Oreal nude magique cushion foundation

I love this! I honestly have used this every day since I first reviewed this on my blog. This is the most perfect lightweight every day foundation that just looks glowy and beautiful. Is it just me that has one foundation they have that they know will look good? I prefer a more lightweight coverage so this was exactly what I was looking for.

Joan Collins fade to perfect concealer

Still using this concealer and loving it! It doesn’t crease and doesn’t make my makeup smudge, but it still hides any darkness under the eyes. I tried using a different concealer the other day that I used to love but now it just doesn’t compare!

Benefit Goof Proof brow pencil

For my brows i’m using the Benefit Goof Proof pencil. I think I like this, it is quite waxy which I tend to like. I probably wouldn’t repurchase purely because I have cheaper pencils I like just as much, such as the Rimmel expert brow pencil. But, whilst I have this i’m going to use it! Do you know what I mean…

Rosie for Autograph bronzer

I’m loving a more minimal look on the cheeks at the moment and usually the only product i’m using is the Rosie Huntington-Whiteley bronzer in ‘bronzed beauty’. I love applying this with a Real Techniques duo fiber brush as this is very pigmented and requires a light hand! I do some ‘nontouring’ with this i.e. around the perimeter of the face, and above the cheekbones.

Sometimes I also add a little bit of highlighter and at the moment i’m using Benefit Wattsup. I will be a glowing goddess!

Revlon eyeshadow quad in ‘Addictive’

To keep the eyes pretty simple i’ve just started using this eyeshadow palette from Revlon. It’s got 4 pretty every day neutrals in and this is perfect for an easy eye look. I love using the matte brown on an angled brush to add a bit of depth to the lash line.

Revlon volume + length mascara

Carrying on with the Revlon theme, i’m using this new Revlon mascara from their new launch a while ago. I do like this, it’s quite natural and layers up well. I do find it can crumble a tiny bit throughout the day but it doesn’t smudge which is my main priority. There’s nothing worse than smudgey mascara!

Rimmel moisture renew lipstick in ‘vintage pink’

Back at it again with this Rimmel lipstick! I cannot get enough of this, as you would have seen it was in my favourite lip products post. So pretty and also low maintenance. I cannot be bothered with a liquid lipstick at the moment; too much effort!

So, that’s what’s on my face today! This also kind of doubles as an ‘everyday face’, so if you were wondering, here’s what i’m loving at the moment.

What one makeup product are you obsessed with?

Love this post! Hope you had a good birthday too. I have to admit I’m not much of a makeup person but I oddly like knowing what other people are in to!
